Expect aromas of dark chocolate, salted caramel, antique leather and rich orange citrus, before a palate of rich cocoa, blood orange, dark fruits, marzipan and moist ginger cake. The finish brings vanilla, chocolate and a rich nuttiness.
Dalmore's story began in 1839 when Alexander Matheson, a visionary entrepreneur, established the distillery in the picturesque Scottish Highlands. Situated on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, Dalmore embraced its Highland roots and embarked on a journey of creating whiskies that would stand the test of time.
Since its inception, Dalmore has been committed to excellence, blending traditional methods with innovative techniques to craft spirits that captivate the senses. Each bottle carries the legacy of those who came before, ensuring that the essence of Dalmore endures.
Dalmore is known for its innovative approach to cask finishes, pushing the boundaries of whisky maturation. From Marsala wine casks to Cabernet Sauvignon casks, the brand explores unique partnerships with vineyards and winemakers to create limited-edition expressions that showcase exceptional flavors and unexpected nuances.
