Veuve Clicquot Champagne 75cl
The Ponsardin Brut with the Yellow Label has been the flagship of the house since 1772. But this champagne is not just trendy, it is also a work of art in terms of craftsmanship. As in the entire Champagne region, a lot of work is traditionally done by hand here. Anything else would be an insult to the wonderful grapes that wander into the Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Brut. If you buy the champagne with gift box and present it to a person you appreciate, they will undoubtedly appreciate the gesture in turn - visually and taste-wise!
Unique taste
Dominique Demarville, cellar master of Veuve Clicquot, works meticulously for the Yellow Label Ponsardin Brut. Here he combines wines from 50 to 60 (!) Crus. The mixing ratio is divided into 50 to 55% Pinot Noir, 28 to 33% Chardonnay and 15 to 20% Pinot Meunier. Demarville can also draw on 30 to 45% of reserve wines from Veuve Clicquot, which have been stored in the cellars for up to 9 years. This ensures that the champagne has a consistently excellent taste.
When you remove the Yellow Label Ponsardin Brut from the gift box, you should first refrigerate it - it should not be warmer than 8 degrees. Then serve it in a glass, and marvel first at the golden yellow colour and the particularly fine mousse. Make an odour test: you will notice fine fruity traces of fruits such as pears, peaches and Mirabelle plums. These are accompanied by warm notes of vanilla and roasted brioche. The taste is straight and harmonious and leads into a long aftertaste, in which the fruit flashes again with a little spice.
